Proudly Utilizing Cutting-edge Dental Technology
Dr. Hancock incorporates some of the latest innovations in high-tech dentistry to bring his patients more effective and efficient treatments. Each piece of equipment provides for an improved experience for the patient, and produces greater results for their oral health.
PrepStart Air Abrasion:
Dental air abrasion is great for nervous or fearful patients needing a cavity filled. Unlike a dental drill, which can be noisy and sometimes uncomfortable, air abrasion uses a compressed stream of air and tiny particles to quickly and comfortably prepare a tooth for filling.
We use digital X-ray machines by Planmeca. These X-rays emit a lower dose of radiation than conventional X-rays and capture detailed, high quality images for proper evaluation of your teeth and gums. We use both regular and panoramic digital X-rays, depending on the situation.
Soprolife Intraoral Camera:
SoproLife is a unique imaging device that allows Dr. Hancock to detect cavities and decay that is not easily found with the naked eye or X-rays. SoproLife uses three modes to enhance diagnosis of diseased tissue and decay with greater visibility and magnification.
We use the Midmark M11 Ultraclave automatic sterilization system for its reliability and effectiveness for infection control.
Brasseler Carefree Plus Electric Handpiece Irrigation Device:
Dr. Hancock uses a Brasseler water irrigation hand piece for oral surgery, making surgical procedures more comfortable for patients.
Dr. Hancock offers IV sedation with Criticare. This IV system accurately monitors the patient while undergoing treatment. Dr. Hancock provides IV sedation for most surgical procedures.
